Who We Are

A pixel arcade built by players, for players

We started in a Fitzroy garage with three flickering cabinets and a soldering iron. Ten years on, RocketPlayer.fun runs a two-level arcade lounge in the heart of Melbourne CBD, five minutes from Flinders Street Station.

Every cabinet is restored in-house — original boards, recapped monitors, and genuine arcade sticks. When the machines cool down, our online client keeps the leaderboard alive so you can climb the ranks from home.

How It Works

From queue to high score in four steps

No app downloads, no confusing sign-ups. Rock up, load a card, and play.

Grab a Rocket Card

Tap on at the front desk and load credit from AUD $10. Cards never expire and unused credit rolls over between visits.

Pick Your Pod

Single cabinets, two-player battle stations, or the six-seat couch co-op room. Reserve online or walk in — pods run AUD $8 per half hour.

Load & Play

Choose from 80+ titles across our shelf, from Street Fighter II to Bubble Bobble. Staff will happily calibrate sticks and explain any game.

Bank Your Score

Scan out to save your run to the RocketPlayer leaderboard. Top the weekly board and win free pod time plus a spot on the CRT hall of fame.
